We trade our own capital. There is no money to raise, no quarter to explain, and no index whose constituents decide what we may own or how far we may stray from it. Our money is patient. Positions can be held until mispricing corrects, not surrendered to investor withdrawals or drawdown limits that close sound positions at the worst possible moments. The constraints we face are the market's own, not those manufactured by institutional frictions, agency issues and misaligned incentives.
We are rational investors. We allocate capital to its most efficient use. We stay calm when markets are not. Dislocation destroys liquidity and widens mispricing. That is when we lean in, supplying liquidity when it is scarce.
We maximise returns, not assets under management. We publish no forecasts, run no products, and prefer our results to speak quietly.
We hire selectively, and deliberately. We look for people who would count the dots above, and then wonder why.
